Amsterdam’s Red Light District Private Accessible Guided Tour
Take a walk on the wild side with this 2 hour accessible private guided tour of Amsterdam’s Red Light District! Visitors to Amsterdam are often curious about the infamous Red Light District, but are unsure about visiting the area. If you’d like to see what it’s all about then this Red Light District accessible touris the best way to experience it! Your expert local guide will take you to see all of the highlights of the area and explain why Amsterdam locals are so comfortable with the activities that take place here.
Visit a “hidden” sex shop, see “Cheap Street” and “Elite Street,” and hear the fascinating story of two famous Dutch prostitutes who are twin sisters! This accessible Red Light District tour is definitely not for the faint of heart, as your guide has no reservations when it comes to talking about this quirky aspect of Amsterdam’s culture, and is also happy to answer any questions you have. You even have the option to visit the “Sex Palace” to see a live performance for an additional 2 euro, but it is not a mandatory part of the tour.
Note: Although you will see many parents with children walking the streets of the Red Light District (it really is nothing out of the ordinary for locals), due to the explicit nature of this tour, it is not recommended for children.

Amsterdam’s Red Light District Accessible Guided Tour has a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it is step-free and your guide can push a wheelchair if necessary. It did not receive a higher rating because you will encounter mild cobblestones and crowded streets.
Some areas in the Red Light District have fairly smooth walkways (shown below on the left) while other routes have more uneven paving stones (shown below on the right). Your guide will help you maneuver the walkways to find the best suitable route but in some cases, uneven ground may be unavoidable due to the large crowds that are common here in the evenings.
