Wheelchair Accessible Berlin Hotel Rooms - The Meliá Berlin is located north of Unter den Linden street on Friedrichstrasse street and overlooks the River Spree.  It has 15 wheelchair accessible Berlin hotel rooms with roll-in showers and level access at the main entrance. The Friedrichstrasse S-bahn and U-bahn stations are across the street, and the useful and accessible Bus 147 passes in front of the hotel.

Parking and Public Transportation The accessible entrance of the Melia Berlin hotel.
Closest disabled parking is located where (e.g. on street north of building, parking garage east of building, etc...)  Disabled parking is in the basement of the building and connected to the hotel by elevators.
Name of nearby metro/subway/tube stations  Friedrichstraße, big station for busses, metro, city trains and the railway.
Bus lines that pass nearby  Bus line 147 One of the hotel rooms at the Melia Berlin.passes in front of the hotel. Within 350 meters pass the lines 100, 200 and TXL (Berlin-Tegel airport bus) which pass famous monuments and areas of Berlin.
Is there a taxi stand nearby? How far away?  A taxi stand is 300m away, but the reception calls the taxis for our guests.

Main entrance is flat, ramped, or has unavoidable steps?  The main entrance is flat and has automatic doors which are motion activated.

Are there guest rooms on the ground floor?  No
Is there an elevator to rooms on other floors?  To all floors. And close to the disabled rooms
Elevator door is at least 75 cm (30 inches) wide? If less, how wide?  All 5 elevators have doors which are 90 cm wide.
Is the breakfast room / restaurant on the ground floor or can it be reached by elevator?  The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is located on the 1st floor (one up) and reachable by 2 elevators.
What is the floor surface in the halls? (e.g. wood, marble, linoleum, carpet, etc...)  Marble

Lever to open main door and bathroom door?  No, but easy to open.

Can a wheelchair be positioned on the left, right, or both sides of the bed? (perspective of left/right is facing the bed from the foot of the bed)?  On both sides of the bed
Do the accessible rooms have one or two beds?  Double beds which can be separated.
Do any of the accessible rooms have connecting rooms?  Yes, 28 rooms
