Wheelchair Accessible Hotel near Rome Train Station

This Rome wheelchair accessible hotel is the closest accessible hotel to the Termini Station. We put many clients here the night before they fly out of Rome, especially the ones taking the train in from Venice after spending a week or two in Italy.

The train station is only two blocks away, and the neighborhood around this hotel is flat with paved streets and sidewalks. Disabled travelers can get from the train station to this hotel without the need of an accessible bus or Rome wheelchair taxi.

All Rome hotel reservations through Sage Traveling come with:

The 5 accessible rooms in this hotel have roll-in showers and plenty of space for a wheelchair user to navigate. There is a grab bar next to the toilet and another grab bar in the roll-in shower.

I gave this wheelchair accessible hotel near Rome train station a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has a step-free entrance by using the wheelchair lift and a roll-in shower. It did not get a 5 star accessibility rating because I did not see what the chair in the shower looks like and the grab bar is located on the wrong side of the toilet.

This accessible hotel room near Rome train station has wood floors and space on both sides of the bed for a wheelchair user.

The accessible bathroom has toilet in the front left of the bathroom. There is a bidet in the back corner and a roll-in shower in the back right. A grab bar is located on one side of the toilet, and there is a grab bar and hand-held shower in the roll-in shower. A portable chair can be provided in the roll-in shower.

The picture in the lower left is of a different accessible room. The headboards show that the beds can be separated into two single beds.

The entrance to the hotel has a small 1.5 inch lip. The main entrance is a revolving door and a staff member opened a push/pull door for me located to the right. A wheelchair lift gets you up a few steps.

The breakfast area is shown in the images below. It has plenty of space for a wheelchair user to get around.

There is a pizzeria located just across the street from the hotel. It has a flat entrance.

A few other accessible restaurants in Rome are nearby including the ones shown in the pictures below. The neighborhood around the hotel is flat with paved streets and sidewalks.
