With visits to two Chianti wineries, three villages, and the impressive medieval walled town of Monteriggioni, the Accessible Driving Tour of Chianti Wineries and Villages will leave you with memories and photographs to last a lifetime.
During this accessible Chianti tour, you will learn about the long war between the Florentines and the Sienese and how it shaped this border region between the two kingdoms. You will receive wine production explanations from local Chianti wine producers.
The towns through this part of Tuscany contain some significant accessibility challenges, and the tour routes through each village has been designed with considerations for wheelchair users, mobility scooter users, and slow walkers.

The Accessible Driving Tour of Chianti Wineries and Villages uses walking/rolling routes that are step free (example shown on the left). It avoids routes through Chianti towns that have stairs (example shown on the right).
