El Alamein & War Museum Accessible Shore Excursion

This full day accessible shore excursion of El Alamein visits a WWII museum and WWII cemeteries and includes wheelchair accessible transportation.
When you arrive, your Egyptologist guide and driver will be waiting to pick you up in an air-conditioned, accessible van to begin your El Alamein accessible shore excursion! If you are interested in World War II history, then this tour is for you!
You will first visit the El Alamein War Museum where you will learn about the history of WWII in Egypt as well as see historical artifacts like weapons and uniforms that were used by the soldiers.
Next, you will visit the Cemetery of the Commonwealth and the German Cemetery. Over 4,000 German soldiers who died during the battle of El Alamein in 1942 are buried at the German Cemetery. At the Cemetery of the Commonwealth, over 7,000 soldiers who died during various battles during World War II have been laid to rest.
At the end of your accessible shore excursion of El Alamein, you will be escorted back to Alexandria, where you will have the opportunity to take photos of the famous library of Alexandria and the lighthouse before your guide and driver drop you off at your cruise ship 2 hours before its departure.
