Pitti Palace & Palazzo Vecchio Accessible Walking Tour

7.1This 3 hour accessible private tour of Pitti Palace and Palazzo Vecchio uses a step-free route and includes exterior visits of both of these fantastic sights!

Your Palazzo Vecchio accessible tour will begin when your guide meets you at your centrally located accessible hotel in Florence, or another convenient location. The Pitti Palace & Palazzo Vecchio Accessible Walking Tour includes an inside visit of Pitti Palace (or Palazzo Pitti), which houses over 500 Renaissance paintings, the Palatine Gallery, and the Royal Apartments. You will also go inside Palazzo Vecchio, Florence’s Romanesque city hall that overlooks Piazza della Signoria. You will see the Salone dei Cinquecento (the Hall of 500), an impressive 15th century room designed to be the seat of the Grand Coucil, as well as the Hall of Justice, among the many other extraordinary rooms.

Along the way you will also see the Loggia dei Lanzi, an open-air museum that boasts several statues and sculptures including the Medici Lions.

Afterwards, your guide will take you along the step free route to Ponte Vecchio, one of Florence’s most iconic images. This “old bridge” has been a marketplace for merchants over the centuries and still serves the same purpose today.
