Accessibility Description

I gave the Windsor Castle and Highlights of London Accessible Driving Tour a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it involves a vehicle with a wheelchair ramp and step-free tour routes. It did not get a higher rating because you may encounter some cobblestones during the tour. 

Your transportation on this accessible London driving tour will be in a clean, modern accessible black taxi. The car has a built-in wheelchair ramp.  Manual wheelchair users and electric wheelchair users can roll into the car.

On this accessible Windsor Castle tour, you’ll visit the State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel.  If you want to, your tour guide can show you Queen Mary’s Doll House Exhibition.  Windsor Castle’s “Long Walk” (shown in the photo below on the right) is not necessary on this tour!

After your visit to Windsor Castle, you’ll spend the remainder of your day in London visiting some of the most popular attractions. You will see the sights in the City of Westminster (such as Houses of Parliament shown in the photo on the left) and the sights in the City of London (such as the Tower of London shown in in the photo on the right).

On this Windsor Castle and Highlights of London Accessible Guided Tour, you’ll hear about the fascinating history behind the monuments…how Big Ben (shown on the left) got its name and what The Monument (shown on the right) memorializes!

Tour duration: Full day
Cost: £480 for 1-2 people, £530 for 3-4 people.
* £20 off if booked as part of an accessible London travel package
Days of the week the tour is offered: 7 days a week
Meeting time: 9:00 am
Meeting place: Pick-up at your accessible London hotel
Number of people on tour: 2 to 4 people depending on the size of the wheelchair / mobility scooter.  A larger accessible vehicle can be arranged for bigger groups at an additional cost. 
Entrance tickets: Entrance tickets are not included but skip the line tickets can be purchased in advance at an additional cost.
Cancellation policy: 80% refund with at least 7 days notice, 50% refund with at least 4 days notice, and no refund with less than 4 days notice. Tours run rain or shine.
Not included: Entrance tickets, snacks/meals and gratuities.
