Wheelchair Access at Byzantine and Christian Museum

  Wheelchair access at the Byzantine andThere is a very slight ramp going down at the entrance.Christian Museum in Athens is possible by using the elevators positioned throughout the museum which enable you to visit the various exhibition floors. When you arrive you will have 5 meters of 4 star smooth cobblestones to go over before you get into the courtyard.  On the left side of the courtyard you will find the entrance to the museum. There is level access at the entrance of the building.

Inside the museum, all of the exhibits can be reached without having to ascend stairs although you will need to use 4 different elevators to go down to the various levels. After visiting all of the exhibits, a single elevator can take you back up to the entrance. There are steps to reach the restroom.

Where is the closest disabled parking? The Museum has one parking space reserved for people with disabilities.

There are a few elongated elevators to get down to the bottom floor.

Are there cobblestones or hills leading to the entrance?  There are 5 meters of 4 star smooth cobblestones and a 4 star flat slope at the entrance.

What percentage of the attraction can be viewed without having to go up steps?  95%.  Four elevators are necessary to get you down to the various floors and you can take a single elevator back to the entrance. Only the restroom can not be reached by elevator.

Which parts are not accessible?  All parts are accessible except for the restroom.
