Escorted Accessible Mediterranean Cruise – Sign Up Now!!

Hello European travelers! You have probably noticed that each of my newsletters is focused on educating people about accessibility in Europe. This is the first newsletter that I’m going to do something different.

Last month I mentioned that I would be escorting an accessible 13 night Mediterranean cruise in 2014. I asked if people were interested and I heard from a bunch of you! I’m really, really excited about meeting so many of my readers and personally providing an awesome vacation. I’m devoting this entire newsletter to describing this cruise…. I don’t want anyone who wants to go to miss out!

The cruise will be on the Celebrity Equinox, which consistently gets rave reviews from passengers (Cruise Critic has a passenger approval rating of 93% which is the highest I found). It has 10 restaurants (from French to Asian-fusion), 18 shopping venues, and 13 bars and lounges. Read more about the Celebrity Equinox.

The cruise itinerary visits some of the most spectacular ports in the Mediterranean: Venice, Italy (2 days); Dubrovnik, Croatia; Mykonos, Greece; Istanbul, Turkey (2 days); Naples (Pompeii), Italy; Rome, Italy; Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Italy; Toulon (Provence), France; and Barcelona, Spain.

In each port, you’ll have the opportunity to experience top-notch accessible excursions…. none of those 2 hour see-the-city-through-a-bus-window tours that the cruise lines offer! These will include interior visits to the accessible tourist attractions and accessible routes to get between them. You’ll also have lunch in accessible restaurants with authentic local cuisine.
