Disabled Hotels in Paris Left Bank
Disabled hotels in Paris Left Bank – The Left Bank is without a doubt my favorite neighborhood in Paris. When you see a picture of sidewalk cafés lining a pedestrian street in Paris, you can bet that it was taken in the Left Bank. On this page you’ll find pictures and reviews of the 5 disabled hotels in Paris Left Bank that I visited. Each of these hotels is accessible to disabled travelers, and 3 of them have roll-in showers.
This neighborhood is also known as the Latin Quarter because classes at the University of Paris were taught here in Latin in the Middle Ages. To this day, it still has a village-like feel to it. Most of the streets are smooth with wide sidewalks, but a few have cobblestones or narrow sidewalks. Fortunately the neighborhood is fairly small with little automotive traffic so getting around with a disability is not too difficult.
Just north of these hotels you will find the Seine River, Notre Dame, and the Louvre Museum. Boulevard Saint-Michel and Boulevard Saint-Germain cut through this neighborhood and provide numerous accessible bus options for these disabled hotels in Paris Left Bank.
