Accessible Old Town San Juan, Condado and Fort Del Morro

This accessible San Juan shore excursion is a wonderful way to experience authentic Puerto Rican history, culture, and landmarks. Enjoy a panoramic driving tour of several historic and new Puerto Rican landmarks.

Explore the spectacular sights of San Juan with an outside visit and photo stop to the famous Castillo San Felipe Del Morro. Explore the lower part of Old Town San Juan, Paseo de la Princesa and drive through new San Juan with a stop at Ventana Del Mar known as the window to the sea in New San Juan’s Oceanfront luxurious district, Condado.

Start your day by meeting your knowledgeable tour guide and accessible van at the San Juan cruise dock. Star your tour with a panoramic drive and experience some of the best historic landmarks of the city. From the comfort of your accessible van, you will see the breathtaking El Capitolio, the famous Casa Olimpica and other popular highlights.

You will drive through the condado district in New San Juan. This oceanfront luxurious area has luxury hotels, casinos and restaurants and is famous for its nightlife. You will stop at Ventana Del Mar for a photo opportunity. This is an ocean front park known as the “window to the sea “offering spectacular views of the new San JuanTour.

From there you will head on a drive to Castillo San Felipe del Morro. This Fort is a Puerto Rican legacy. Very few landmarks represent Puerto Rico’s legacy within the Caribbean and the Americas other than Castillo San Felipe del Morro. This almost 500-year-old fort is located on the corner of the islet of Old San Juan. During most of its nearly 500-year history, it was an important military outpost for Spain and later the United States. This will be an outside visit with a photo opportunity and some important facts will be shared by your knowledgeable tour guide.

The final part of the day will be spent exploring the lower parts of Old Town San Juan with a leisurely stroll down Paseo De La Princesa. Admire the old fort walls and stunning water views and learn about the many statues and small exhibits along the boulevard. On the weekends, this beautiful boulevard is also peppered with small local market stands. You will have free time to explore this area, browse some of the many interesting shops, boutiques and art galleries.
