The German Resistance Memorial is located in the building where the Valkyrie plot to assassinate Hitler was planned, and the courtyard is the location where the conspirators were executed. There is a single step at the entrance to the building. Sixty percent of the exhibits are accessible by a 71 cm wide elevator, and the other 40% are accessed via 6 steps.

The entrance is located on the left side of the courtyard and has a single step.

Is there an accessible entrance? The only entrance has a single step to enter followed by a pull door. It is located on the left, inside the courtyard.

Where is the closest place that cars/taxis can drop-off people? On Stauffenbergerstrasse street to the east of the building.The door to the elevator is 71 cm wide which was okay for my wheelchair but may be too narrow for other wheelchairs.

Are there cobblestones or hills leading to the entrance? No cobblestones or hills

What percentage of the attraction can be viewed without having to go up steps? 66% if you can get up the single step at the entrance. Otherwise 0%.About 2/3 of the inside of the museum is step-free.

Which parts are not accessible? There are 6 steps down to get to Rooms 18-26. Four of the twelve rooms with audioguide narrations are down these steps.

Are there loaner wheelchairs? NoThe last 1/3 of the museum requires going down these steps.
