The Monument is in honor of the fallen of the Bay of Pigs Invasion in Little Havana. You will see their names engraved on the monument and there is an eternal flame on the top.

The tour continues in the heart of Calle Ocho, peppered with Latin American galleries, busy restaurants and cafes, Cuban coffee and cigars and Latin music. This is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the history and cultural traditions of Cuba (outside of Cuba). Stroll down Memorial Boulevard, browse a local fruit marketplace, “savor some typical Cuban pastelitos (sort of Viennoiserie) and Cuban coffee (at your own cost), and enter a cigar factory to see how cigars are made. You may even get to roll one yourself!

On your leisurely stroll in Little Havana, one of the most vibrant places in Miami, you will also see and learn about the Tower Theater, Ball and Chain bar and the Domino Park. The Little Havana Accessible Guided Tour has received a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it is entirely step-free, and there is no need for transportation on this tour. The route is approximately 2 miles long at a slow pace without any hills. It did not receive a higher rating because the area can get crowded easily which makes navigating in a wheelchair more challenging. Please note, accessible restroom stops will be included along the route.
The tour route is mostly flat and step-free. Your tour guide will lead you using wheelchair friendly routes.

Curb cuts are used for easy wheelchair access.
