Sit back and enjoy as you ride from Skagway into the heart of the Yukon on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad. Onboard the train, you will climb 3,000 feet high to admire scenic vistas and past aptly spots named Inspiration Point and Dead Horse Gulch on your way to the headwaters of the famous Yukon River. Along the 40 mile train ride, you will enjoy interesting narration to help you understand and appreciate the scenery even better.

The Skagway Wheelchair Accessible Train Excursion has a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because the tour itself does not require any walking or long distances to navigate. It did not receive a higher rating because wheelchair users will have to roll to the Skagway train station in order to start the tour. This is located approximately 1 mile away from the cruise terminal.

The train is equipped with a wheelchair lift and offers plenty of open space areas for wheelchair users to conveniently sit next to one of the large panoramic windows. There is also an accessible restroom with grab bars located onboard the train.

While onboard the train, you will enjoy incredible views including montains, waterfalls, breathtaking vegetation and much more!
