Highlights of Mykonos Accessible Tour

This Mykonos accessible guided tour uses a wheelchair accessible van to visit several different areas of the beautiful island of Mykonos. You will visit some of the island’s most interesting areas including several beaches.

You will visit the Agios Ioannis beach located on the western tip of the island facing the island of Delos. The beach of Kalafatis faces south into the Mediterranean Sea.

The quieter and less touristy Ano Mera village with its famous Panagia Tourliani Monastery will be visited on this Mykonos accessible guided tour. An optional stop for swimming or lunch is possible depending on your preferences.

Accessibility Details

I gave this accessible guided tour of Mykonos a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Ratingbecause it uses a wheelchair accessible van to travel between the various villages and beaches. It did not get a higher accessibility rating because you could encounter some cobblestones along the route.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Many cruise ships visiting Santorini use tenders to ferry people ashore.  Most cruise ships have restrictions on disabled passengers using these tenders.  You or your travel agent should confirm that you are able to go ashore before booking this excursion.

The Highlights of Mykonos Wheelchair Accessible Guided Tour begins with a driver and wheelchair accessible van meeting you at the Myknos cruise dock or your hotel.

During your Mykonos accessible guided tour you will visit several of the islands villages. The village of Chora is home to to the famous windmills and “Little Venice” (shown in the image below on the left). The streets are covered in a famous painted pattern (shown in the image below on the right). Visitors in wheelchairs will be glad to know that those are not giant cobblestones, just paint!

The Highlights of Mykonos Wheelchair Accessible Guided Tour visits the village ofAno Mera located far from the beaches. It is home to a quiet town square and the monastery of Panagia Tourliani!

Your accessible Mykonos tour includes a visit to the town of Ornos which is situated on the westernmost peninsula and is shown in the photo on the left. A visit to the wheelchair accessible Paradise Beach is optional (or if you want, you can spend the entire tour lounging on the beach!)
