I gave this hotel a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has a flat entrance to the building, wide doors, a large elevator, and a roll-in shower. It did not get a higher rating because it only has grab bars on one side of the toilet and has a small slip into the shower.
This accessible Chianti hotel is located in a small historic village that had an important strategic location during the years of war between Siena and Florence. Consequently, it was fortified with defensive walls that still exist today.
