The Accessible Miami Sightseeing Boat Tour has received a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because the yacht used on this cruise offers step-free access. The walkway from the parking lot to the boat is clear of bumps and takes about 5 minutes to navigate. Depending on the tide on the day, a small ramp may be used to help enter the boat. The tour did not receive a higher rating because it is not very suitable for larger electric scooters and wheelchairs due to smaller turning surfaces and areas.
The staff will help make access to the boat accessible and tie down the boat to the pier so that wheelchairs can enter without too much movement of the boat. Should the tie make it higher than the pier a small ramp will be used. A bathroom with wide doorway and sufficient turning space is also located onboard. However, there are no grab bars available.
