Handicapped Accessible Guided Tour of the Rome Capitoline Museums

The Capitoline Museums accessible guided tour shows you some of the top Roman artifacts from pre-Rome, Roman Empire, and Medieval times over the course of a 2 hour visit to the museums.  The artifacts are also housed in a former palazzo that provides some of the best views in Rome!

On this Capitoline Museums accessible guided tour you will see the magnificent bronze statue of Hercules, the statue of Mars in full military dress, the splendid Centaur, and the red marble Drunken Faun. Perhaps the top attraction is the bronze statue of Marcus Aurelius on horseback, the replica of which stands in Piazza Campidoglio outside of the museums. The Dying Gaul and busts of Cicero, Nero, Homer, Aristotle, Plato, Julius Caesar, and Socrates are also found in the museum.  A painting gallery including works of art by Caravaggio is located here. One of the most famous statues in all of Italy is the She Wolf with the twins Romulus and Remus underneath.
