Essential Roatan Accessible Guided Tour

The Essential Roatan Accessible Guided Tour is a great way to explore some of the best sites of the island. Enjoy panoramic views, sample and lean about the organic chocolate production on the island, and browse and shop at charming local craft shops. This 3 hour tour is a fun time for all- and it is completely wheelchair accessible.

Start your tour by meeting your tour guide accessible van at the cruise dock. From here, you will set out on a short ride to the first stop of the day, a breathtaking viewpoint by the Airport Tower. Here, you will have an opportunity to exit the vehicle to capture some beautiful photos and browse some souvenir stands if you’d like. Next, you will continue with a scenic drive to the North side of the island, through the popular Sandy Bay gated community to the West End Village.

Upon arrival, you will make a stop at the Mayank Chocolate Museum where you will enjoy a short chocolate tour, learning about the history of the chocolate and sampling chocolate. This is a socially and environmentally responsible factory that makes organic chocolate. There will also be time to purchase some chocolate to bring back home with you.

Right next to the chocolate paradise, you will find the charming Rusty Fish Craft Market. This unique place makes and sells recycled arts and gifts handmade in Roatan. Browse at your own leisure and admire the many unique items displayed and sold here.

The last part of your tour will take you on a short drive to the final stop of the day, Janeth´s Handmade Crafts & Souvenirs. Here you will have a short restroom break and time to browse the handmade crafts, before embarking on a scenic drive back to the port.
