Highlights of Cozumel Accessible Driving Tour
The Highlights of Cozumel Accessible Driving Tour is one of our most popular and well-liked shore excursions. This unique and enjoyable experience allows you to visit many of the popular sites and attractions on the beautiful island of Cozumel all in one tour.
This accessible Cozumel driving tour begins with your local, English-speaking driver/guide meeting you at the cruise dock in a comfortable, air-conditioned accessible van. Rest assured this is not just a drive-by tour. You’ll have plenty of sites and experiences to choose from.
This accessible driving tour starts out by taking you on a short drive as you make your way to your first stop, Mayan Center (entrance included). You’ll feel like a real Mayan on this interactive encounter, wandering through a village where the rich local history and culture is laid out before you. After being shown how to paint your face in traditional Mayan colors, your guide will take you from workshop to workshop, in thatched palapa huts, where you’ll get a true sense of how this mystical civilization lived (and still lives).
Next, you’ll have the opportunity to visit El Cedral Village where you will visit one of the smaller but oldest Mayan ruin structures on the island, El Cedral. Have your camera ready to snap some memorable pictures! In El Cedral, if time allows, you will also visit a charming local hacienda Tequila factory for a delicious tasting experience.
