Sea of Galilee Full Day Accessible Shore Excursion
This full day Sea of Galilee Accessible Shore Excursion will give you an excellent overview of Haifa as you experience over 2000 years of history in one tour!
Your tour will begin when your guide and driver pick you up from the cruise terminal in Haifa in a wheelchair accessible van. From there, you will drive through Lower Galilee to Migdal and visit the Sea of Galilee and the Mount of Beatitudes, the spot where Jesus is said to have given his “Sermon on the Mount.”
The next stop on your Sea of Galilee accessible shore excursion is Tabgha, where the Biblical story of “Jesus feeding the 5,000” is believed to have taken place. Here, you will visit The Church of the Multiplication (of the Loaves and Fishes) as well as the ancient fishing village of Capernaum, which is mentioned several times in the New Testament.
You will stop for lunch in an accessible restaurant in Tiberias, a city that was established sometime around the year 20 CE! Afterwards, you can choose to go to Nazareth to visit the Basilica of the Annunciation or Degania, the first Kibbutz in Israel, which will be the last stop on your Sea of Galilee accessible shore excursion. Your guide and driver will then take you back to the cruise terminal in Haifa at 6pm.
