Paris Wheelchair Accessible Hotel Rooms near Louvre Museum – The bathrooms at this hotel are the most accessible of any of the 15 hotel we visited. While we saw many hotels with roll-in showers, these Paris wheelchair accessible hotel rooms near Louvre Museum are the only ones we saw that have grab bars on both sides of the toilet and both sides of the bench in the roll-in shower.

Out of all the accessible hotels in Paris, this hotel is the closest to the Louvre. The Pyramid entrance to the Louvre is only 300 meters away from the hotel. The hotel is located on a quiet street 1 1/2 blocks off of the Rue de Rivoli which runs the length or the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens. The streets and sidewalks in the neighborhood are flat without cobblestones. The entrance to the hotel has a slight ramp and a motion activated door. Because 6 accessible bus lines stop within a couple of blocks of the hotel entrance, you will be able to save money on taxis when going to the other tourist sights

Le Royal Valois restaurant is directly across the street and has outdoor, covered seating. One block towards the Louvre you will find three more restaurants with outdoor, covered seating which don’t require going up steps to enter the restaurant.

This hotel has a 3 star hotel classification. It would be a 4 star hotel if it had a restaurant and definitely has a 4 star feel to it. I give it a 5 Star Sage Accessibility rating. The rooms have plenty of space, the bathrooms are very accessible for wheelchair users, and the entrance of the hotel is easy to manage in a wheelchair.
