4 Star Accessible Hotel in Florence

Orto de Medici 1This 4 star Florence accessible hotel is ideally located on a quiet street and within a couple blocks of Michelangelo’s David. It’s a very old building that has been converted into nice hotel with high ceilings and disabled bathrooms with roll-in showers.

The hotel is located in the center of Florence and is great for disabled travelers looking for a good value for an accessible hotel without a lot of pedestrian tourist traffic.

It is located 650 meters (1/3 mile) north of the Duomo Cathedral and has a couple of restaurants with outdoor accessible seating nearby. You will also be minutes away from the Academy of Fine Arts, Ponte Vecchio and Via de Tornabuoni.  The outdoor terrace in this Florence 4 star accessible hotel is the perfect place for guests to relax after a day exploring the city. This hotel is cheaper than other 4 star Florence accessible hotels nearby.

This 4 star Florence Accessible hotel features:

I gave this hotel a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has a wheelchair accessible building entrance, a large elevator to the upper floors, and a roll-in shower in the accessible rooms. It did not get a higher rating because there is only a grab bar on one side of the toilet.
