Florence Italy Wheelchair Accessible Apartment

IMG_8179This Florence Italy wheelchair accessible apartment is perfect if you are looking for an authentic Florence experience. A great value, especially for families, the charming accessible apartment has a full kitchen so you can try your hand at Tuscan cooking.

Located south of Arno River and away from many of the tourist crowds, this Florence wheelchair accessible apartment is within easy walking/rolling distance to the tourist attractions among narrow, old Florence streets with diagonally-oriented paving stones. This accessible apartment is usually cheaper than other Florence accessible family accommodations and boasts more space than some other Florence accessible roll-in shower hotels. You will want to reserve months in advance, as this hotel is very popular and gets booked fast!

This Florence Italy wheelchair accessible apartment features:

  • Accessible accommodation inspected and verified by Sage Traveling
  • Great value, especially for families
  • Full kitchen and living area
  • Ideal central location south of Arno River, away from many of the tourist crowds but within easy walking distance to the tourist attractions

Sage Accessibility Guide to Florence.

Accessibility Details

I gave this hotel a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has ramped access and a roll-in shower.  It did not get a higher rating because the seat in the roll-in shower is small.

This Florence accessible wheelchair apartment has a double bed and pull-out couch, making it a great option for families or groups traveling. The open floor plan and smooth tile floors make maneuvering a wheelchair around the room easy.
